Green Gables Motel & Suites

This is a great place to stay while traveling through Gold Country. The cottages are roomy and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are just right.

Room was clean and the beds are comfortable. Each room has it's own small porch with seating area. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was quite small, with 2 beds. We would definitely stay again.

Exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff and a quick and easy check in. They have an option for later check in just call ahead. Plenty of parking. Room was spacious and clean. Shower is really small. But rest of bathroom is big enough. Bed was comfortable! Small little kitchen area. Overall great stay.

I was looking for something affordable for a few nights between Lassen and Shasta. Green Gables was it! My room had a queen sized bed, a soft chair with a hassock, mini fridge and microwave. The shower was really tight but I managed. People at the front desk were great. If you need fancy, this is not the place for you. If you want clean, no frills, and budget friendly, this is it.

Hard product and service of truly high standards! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, warm showers. Fish cleaning and bbq equipment available for guests. And the receptionist was very kind and understanding when I had to borrow the phone for almost half an hour to try to solve an issue with my rental car!

(: Its a 12 minute drive to Burnev Falls. There's a good restaurant across the street - the outback steakhouse. There's Julio's Grill and the Chinese one too. Comfy beds. Decent shower (a bit short though). There was ample space for our luggages. I like that they have complimentary water, coffee and pastries at their office. The staff are wonderful. We got the double queen room - beds were clean and cozy. Funny thing was the 2nd bed was blocking the bathroom entry half way. But we didnt mind that, We just needed a place for the night and the price wasnt so bad.

Another winner ! As we wander around... we always need to find inexpensive places to crash for the night. A lot of the cheaper places are old and look it This place is very nice. Clean.. well maintained. This is the place you want to stay ! The lady who checked us in was very nice and friendly..( also a rarity). And there's a bar and grill directly across the street... so we didn't have to drive all over to eat ! Another place that I cannot recommend highly enough !

I booked the two bedroom suite.It was cozy and clean. It had a full size kitchen and the location was perfect for burney falls. The hotel was quiet and not crowded for a weekday. When you check in, you can see that they are monitoring the premises, which made me feel safe. The suite also had a sitting area in the back which was nice. Overall i enjoyed my stay.
